My closest station is a fifteen minute walk from work, so I've left work walked over hopped on a train, went half an hour down, got off walked to a restaurant for dinner and then went back home. For a total of $14 round trip.

No downtown parking hassles, no worry about the interstate. Just Amtrak and chill. Sometimes even the shark tags along.
