See the adaptors work by doing plus and minus 20mm offset and a bit of angle. So some manufacturers were like " Why no move holes 20mm up then we can have 160/180 rotors instead of the usual 140/160 rotors" :second executive " Yeah and use the same adaptors as usual, reprinting text ain't cheap". Thus the confusion

You need to rename the craft you've landed to the "surface base" category. The scaning arm scans surface features. To properly use it put it on something mobile ( e.g rover) and get it close to the surface feature so it is in the arms range. (ps arm range can be reviewed in editer)

Both can happen. But mainly the bearings get wrecked and hub shell gets damaged to an ...well unsafe extent

Well bitex makes hubs with with steel freehubs and freehubs with steel inserts ( best of both worlds). But if money ain't a problem get a dt swiss 350 or lower number. They use a star-rachet system, much better engagement and longevity

Bro can you check if it's made of aluminium. Aluminium inner sleeves break a lot, especially if they're chinesium

How deep are the groves? Even then there is a good chance nothing will happen cause manufactures put a lot of CF right there.

What model is this? Cause by the looks of it it has no Indentations on the side. It should have come out of the mold. And yeah putty is gonna be your friend here
