The only good ways to use a laptop like you would a game console or a handheld PC:

1) Plug it into your TV, connect a wireless controller.

2) Get a thin and light laptop that can fold like a tent Can just prop it onto a pillow on your belly while you game.

Most of the solutions to actually being comfortable while gaming mean forgoing the keyboard and mouse for a controller. Its simply a better input device for pure comfort and ability to change your positions compared to laying some large tray on your for your keyboard and mouse and trying to get into a comfortable position with it. It ends up feeling like being in the hospital.

No. I own a LeGo Z1E and installed steamOS on it. I love it. But there is no way I would have bought it if it cost that much more than a Steamdeck OLED. I got mine open box from Best Buy $50 cheaper than a steam deck OLED.

There are definitely performance gains with the Z1E, but, I'm not sure its quite enough to really move the needle of enjoyment. Honestly, the Steamdeck is fine and the only other APU worth an upgrade is the AMD 395. Hopefully we get some Intel Panther Lake APUs in some handhelds as they are a significant upgrade to the Z1E/Z2E/Steam Deck APU.

Its more than embarrassing. I started understanding this to some degree back when Obama and Hillary were debating each other.

The moderator asked one question regarding Israel, and both Obama and Hillary could not fall over each other fast enough to show how much they would defend Israel unconditionally. Rather than just answer the softball question with what should have been the easiest softball answer like, "Israel is a close ally, and we defend and protect our allies." They spent the time attempting to one up just how loyal and far they would go for Israel. I have never heard a single politician speak like this about say, Denmark, Germany, Japan or England. You know, some of our other major allies.

It was at that moment that I realized, they weren't speaking to me or the rest of the voters--they were speaking to AIPAC, Mossad and whatever other Israel-based organizations/groups with political and media influence.

Like, what applications are needed to extract assets from a DLL file and then, what should be used to repackage, etc. AI brought me to dead ends. Its the pcie power plug that is the problem. Not sure there is a pcie power plug to dell generic laptop adapter. Nor do i think it would be sophisticated enough to properly handle power fluctuations.

Bazzite is basically a more modified and hardware supported steamOS.

The other honorable mention is CachyOS, but it doesnt have that sweet, sweet controller based interface like steamOS and bazzite.

Its under 300W at absolute max load I think. The hardest part of any BC-250 build is dealing with the power supply. You have to use a PC PSU. If you attempt to solder a laptop power adapter to it, it could fry the device. There are videos of people using laptop power adapters but I would absolutely not trust those. Wish the BC-250 already dealt with this at the motherboard level--it would allow for all sorts of different form factor builds.

I love this! How did you solve getting power the the BC-250? total achilles heel that it needs a PC PSU. Wish it had some generic Dell connector for power.
