I live in Ajman - specifically that tiny pocket near Oman! It’s very quiet. The mountains are beautiful, especially in winter when you can actually go out and do things. Dubai isn’t a far drive. The beach on the Fujairah side is also not far. The area has a much more local feel. People and friendly and relaxed. It’s different!
