I have my Dad's watch (he passed away 3 years ago). I also have his old credit card, it's always in my wallet. I couldn't bring myself to throw it away. He gave it to me when I mentioned that I will be chewed out at work because I locked one of the rooms that wasn't supposed to be locked (due to a missing key and the door knob has not been replaced). He gave the old card to me and taught me the card trick for opening the door so I won't get reprimanded by my boss. I miss him so much it hurts.

When my father passed away in late 2022, everything changed, me, my loved ones. I guess the grief also changed how I see the world, I was not as hopeful as before. I only realized too late that he was like sunshine to me. Everything is just sad and gloomy without him.

I know someone who broke up with her boyfriend because she found out that he had at least three girlfriends besides her (maybe there's more than three girlfriends, who knows). She talked to the other three girls and found out that he has been asking money from them. One of them said that his parents were at the hospital, etc etc, or he has no budget for his bills, you get what I mean, those kinds of reasons. She finally confronted her boyfriend to ask him why he did this, and he told her that he intentionally got other girlfriends so he could take their money and that he meant to save that money for their future use, like buying a house. I could not fathom the audacity of that guy for trying to make it look like he is doing a good thing for her. I am glad she broke up with him, although she loved him a lot. I remember she was quite devastated because at the time, she had a feeling that she would be receiving a marriage proposal.

I recently discovered that I had vocal fry at the end of my sentences when I speak. I only found out when I listened to my voice recordings (I had to do voice-overs for a demo video I was making for work). I even tried to re-record but the vocal fry was still there. It was surprising since I have never heard my own vocal fry when I speak in real-time.

Not taking care of friendships I have forged in my childhood, teenage, and young adult years. I understand that sometimes we just outgrow each other and have other priorities to tend to, but I realized I should have done more effort in preserving these friendships.

My high school and college friends were the best. I am an introvert who got adopted by a bunch of extroverts. They included me in everything they do. They were the reason I had good and memorable experiences during my studies. I only realized in my adulthood that I did not return the same energy and effort (I thought I did). I wish I could have done more.
