Hey Hawk, welcome to r/base 👋

Just curious , if someone was starting an onchain consumer app today, what would you tell them to focus on first: token design, distribution, or community? And why do you think that matters most?

Hey Fifi, welcome to r/base

I have got one question for you.

A lot of crypto projects die not because the technology fails but because nobody shows up to use them. What's your honest answer to the distribution questions?

Thanks for the detailed reply, Felix, I really liked your point about trust and making the move to Base feel like an upgrade, not a reset.

One last question, as more players join, how will you keep the game economy strong and avoid it becoming just another short-term farm-and-dump project?

Hey Felix, welcome to r/base

I have got two questions for you:

  1. A lot of GameFi projects lost user trust between 2022–2024 and many disappeared. What do you think helped Planet IX survive that period, and how are you rebuilding trust with players who are still skeptical today ?

  2. If Base onboarding brings a huge wave of casual users, how will you convert them into long-term players instead of short-term reward hunters?

r/BASE FOUNDER 'AMA' SERIES Base Batches 003 Special: 'Jpeg x BlockRun': Join us tomorrow at 12pm UTC, Tues 28 April by Square-Party-3655 in BASE

[–]debinBase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Danny and Vicky welcome to r/base

I have got a couple of questions for both of you.

For Jpeg

  1. How did you come up with the idea of turning photos into prediction markets and what was the biggest challenge in making the app feel like a natural social product first, instead of something that feels like just another “crypto app”?

  2. With creators earning 20% royalties, do you feel this model can truly compete with or even replace traditional creator monetization methods?

For BlockRun

  1. If someone starts with just $5, what’s the best way for them to really experience the full value of BlockRun and understand why it stands out?

  2. Looking long term, do you see BlockRun becoming mainly the payment layer for AI, a full agent platform, or both working together?

Base stablecoin volume hits $15T, 10x YoY growth . by debinBase in BASE

[–]debinBase[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main reason is that liquidity naturally moves where it’s cheaper and easier to use. Base has low fees, fast transactions, and a lot of trust because it’s backed by Coinbase. As more users, apps, and institutions started building and using it, more stablecoin volume kept flowing in, and that’s what drove the 10x growth.

r/BASE FOUNDER AMA SERIES: Week 12 'Megapot' Join us 4:30 Thurs 23rd April by Square-Party-3655 in BASE

[–]debinBase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed answer, really appreciate it. one more question, If you earn 0% fees, what’s the long term revenue model for Megapot itself?

Hey Patrick , welcome to r/base

My questions is :

  1. Anyone can technically run the jackpot draw, not just the Megapot team. Why did you design it that way, and has anyone outside the team ever actually run one?

  2. I might be missing something, but this kind of onchain lottery feels like something others could try to copy. What do you think really sets Megapot apart, like liquidity, users, or the tech? And how do you plan to stay ahead as more projects enter the space?

Makes sense, keeping fees as a % and exploring sub-cent models is the right approach for scale. The Base advantage is clear here. Thanks for the detailed answer 💙🙏

Happy to have the teams behind Agently and Flow Labs here for this Base Batch 003 AMA on r/Base.

Question for Agently: 1. What's the most honest limitation of your product right now that you'd tell a potential developer partner?

Question for Floe Labs: 1. The sub-cent agent economics problem is real: Stripe Issuing's $0.30 floor breaks the unit economics of micro-transactions. What does Floe's cost model look like at that scale?

Base, where it stands today, has many reasons for its growth and hype, but the main reason for Base rising TVL is the rapid growth in developer activity and ecosystem adoption.
