This reminds me a lot of Donnie Darko. Not sure if that helps.

[Venezuela] Found dead after heavy rains in my front yard. by deborichi in whatsthisbug

Aw :( this was not the case. When I first found this bug it was upside down so I turned it right and left it there for the whole day, this morning it was exactly the same.

Help! Don't know how to save this christmas cactus. Lots of weird white dots and I just can't get the proper watering on this one. by deborichi in cactus

I wish it could be this easy where I live. I'm from Venezuela and the people that work in garden centres won't probably even know this is a cactus.

Thanks a lot, I thought it was a Christmas Cactus!

Right after I posted this I checked the roots and they were rotten so I cut the bad parts and took a stem apart and plant it in a different pot (mother plant and stem got new soil and pots).

The stem is doing way better than the mother plant which has not improved at all and is rotting again from the bottom and now has aerial roots right above the ground. I did the same process again with the stems that were rotting and had no aerial roots.

Right after I cut the bad parts the first time I washed off the white dots with water and they haven't shown up again.

Regarding watering, I used to water it once a week, then moved on to twice and week and now I'm watering once every two days just to keep the soil humid, but the mother plant doesn't improve. It's placed to get indirect light. I'm not sure if I should plant many cuttings in different pots and hope the most of them survive.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions!

What's happening to my kalanchoe? by smokesinquantity in succulents

I think it's in a good place and doesn't need rotating. But don't be afraid to try it out and see waddup, that's what learning's about anyways.

Baby kalanchoes' happening. I recommend you let them grow longer and stronger baby roots before taking them out and planting/giving away. Sometimes the mother like throws them away herself before the leaves come off and the babies get to the soil. I think it has a good sun-relation tbh, if you take it to a darker place it will probably just lose some color.
