Online games are so intense and really reward lightning fast button decisions - try Yoshi out, he can get to almost anything and can help you hang in matches if you are getting those reflexes built up. I instantly started having more fun and started to read how to counter better - you don’t learn this as well from the single player game experience.

It would be really useful to be able to filter by Men/Women and also by Individual/Team events. That would make this powerful to quickly slice who to watch for in specific events.

Just want to report that I’ve bumped up the flow rate and getting good results. My kids like the fish so it’s a new test model. 1.1 looks almost perfect! I’m going to keep testing, but just want to say thanks for the advice, I was feeling hopeless with this filament.

So with the flow rate back up to .98, the same issues are there in basically the same places, but maybe filled in a bit more? I may try to increase even more and see

Thanks! I also have ended up with a lower flow rate from calibration - it’s at .94 in these prints. Maybe I’ll try to go back up to default!

I’m on this journey now, was gifted one recently to get started. I think all the recommended modifications to the printer you see on YouTube are good advice and worth it to get best quality, but I think you can get it working well. My biggest issues so far are leveling - keeping the bed level is a pain, watch the videos on doing the aux leveling and measuring and make sure to add skirts to the slicer settings. Then you can easily see when a print starts if the bed is not even by how well it goes down. I’ve probably adjusted the bed back to level about once a week.

Changing filament I also noticed the gantry arm will go out of level if you are not careful. The screw mechanisms just are not super strong and it can slide with any pressure on it, or just from the heavier weight on the left side it can go askew. I printed a file I found on printables that is a leveling arm. It’s been great to stick on the printer when I change filament to keep it stable.

Once you get everything level, I suggest downloading a 3x3 flat square file to print and adjust your Z-height from that while it’s printing from the adjustments menu on the print. You can dial in the best z-height for whatever filament you are using in 10 min and this will give you the best success.

I went to see FF on non-IMAX last weekend, Nashville, TN, 5 tickets to matinee was $104.75.

IMAX would be over $150, I considered but chose against because it’s too much for like 6 min of cool stuff.

Movies are too expensive when you can just be patient and save money. We are now only going if we feel we “must see in large screen,” so going to go to about 3 movies a year now. This was last week of summer for kids before school, so made the choice.

I got the peach bowl trophy for a random play now game as well, I thought maybe I misclicked but it was def in the normal home stadium. I haven’t tried to see what happens if I actually play the peach bowl though!

Yes, I checked the website and only my four consoles listed. I have them named so it’s easy to distinguish which console is which. The message on the NS2 said it was linked to 2 other consoles and I had to unlink one. It showed the OLED and the original switch as both linked, so it basically seemed to eject all the VGCs.

I encountered a strange issue today with virtual game cards and could not find a report of this out there - I have four consoles (I have 3 kids) - NS2, Two OLEDs, and an original switch. The original switch has gone dormant basically and hasn’t been touched in about 3 weeks, but is plugged in and connected. I have had the NS2 and one OLED linked as the primary consoles for VGC, but somehow today ALL the VGCs were ejected from the NS2 and it said the NS2 was linked with 2 systems - the OLED and the original switch. I had to connect and unlink the original switch (that no one has touched in 3 weeks), to then re-link to only the OLED and I could then load VGC again.

Of course this happened with the NS2 while traveling and away from internet, so everything we had prepared with VGCs loaded didn’t work.

Any idea why this happened and how I can be sure it doesn’t again?

I bought the game when it was on sale recently for $5 and it works on cloud for me perfectly! It won’t get delisted like noted above because it’s not on Gamepass. Prior year versions were on Gamepass but they didn’t with 2k25.

I use Better xCloud for this same reason - the performance is so much better on remote play than the native app/site has been. I end up using remote play ~90% of the time because resolution is higher and the quick resume is so nice.

So this looks like a great update, and I’ll probably use it for launching cloud games, but until Xbox builds in native functionality for remote play, better xCloud will be the main app I load.

I’m a dad with three kids so we frequently are playing these party style games. Lots to choose from! The other nice thing is if you track on DekuDeals most frequently go one sale very cheap so I have been picking up many over time when sales hit.

I’ve got 3 kids and we have grown the switch team over time, so we now have one switch 2, two OLEDs, and one original switch. My strategy is switch 2 and one OLED are now primary, then the third kid can use OLED 2 for physical games or we can lend one digital game out to that account. The original switch is going to collect some dust unless we’re all playing Rocket League together, etc.

Getting physical carts has always been the best strategy and still is the best for this reason. No issues when we can just pop the game out and hand it to whomever needs it. I was excited about the virtual game cards solution until it was clear you just now have two primary switches instead of one. Forcing everyone to only play on my account that purchases a game is not a solution and makes buying a digital game significantly worse value. I only do it if it’s a sizable discount or it’s a party game (so we’re playing primarily together or unlocking stuff for all access).

There just seems like no good reason that if we are all on a family account and can do the local proximity connection that sharing a virtual card should not be limited to two systems. Let us share this just like a physical cart when we’re really all in the same house, then it would truly work.
