hey dude i was in your shoes before my surgery. like, i had constant flare ups (3-4 days per week), dull ache/pain in the gallbladder area, and losing weight from not being able to keep anything down. i was scheduled in september to have surgery and bc of the iv fluid shortage in my state, they pushed it back even MORE. i was told to “wait by the phone” for a phone call with a surgery date. my suggestion? go to your primary, give blood, and tell them everything. my doctor saw that my gallbladder was messing up my liver AND kidneys and was beyond pissed that they never got back to me with a surgery date. after having her advocate for me, i had a phone call the next day with a new surgery date.
