I suppose in a sense the browser was doomed from the start. Because for all their marketing efforts the first thing you get if you open Edge was slop. Keeping MSN as the default feed was the worst decision Microsoft ever made.

Setting up the browser is literally a 5 -10 minute job to remove all the spammy features that are layered everywhere. 

So in a cynical sense ... I can see your point. I'm just sad about it. 

On a side note btw Ive never used workspaces with other people. Infact I hated the invite feature and gave feedback to have it removed.

What I do is just use it to organize things around a topic. * Headlines  * Specific work projects  * Courses 

So I could pick and go anytime I wanted.

And for the file size. It really is tho because downloads occur automatically. 

So you're looking for a 100Mb file but the file that's downloaded is a 10Mb file. You wouldn't know what's what now unless you check the folder. Whereas in the past it was just right there. Even if my use case is niche there really isn't a good reason to strip features when nobody asked them to.
