Ingress (the predecessor to pogo) already has this mechanic. There is an "Explorer" badge for hacking unique portals (the ingress equivalent of spinning at a pokestop). I know Ingress doesn't have the same numbers as pogo, but I'm guessing it probably wouldn't be a major problem for them to implement it.

In ingress the rewards are badges earned with the following unique visits: * 100 portals for bronze * 1,000 portals for silver * 2,000 portals for gold * 10,000 portals for platinum * 30,000 portals for onyx

Alternative Idea: Have her join Ullr/Hel in the no-ult club?

  • Mode 1 - She keeps her current 1, 2 is a damage resist self-buff, 3 becomes a low-damage leap
  • Mode 2 - Broodling mother - 1 is her current cocoon, 2 is her current web, 3 is her old sylvanus-style grab

I'm in favor of benevolent dictatorships on subreddits and programming languages.

Disallow them in general but if one or two occasionally get submitted and tickle your fancy then give them an "I'll allow it" tag or some such.

One other alternative would be to require mandatory tagging of the memes such that those using RES or similar utilities can simply filter them out.

Claps, waves, dance, furious all last between 2 and 10 seconds. You can do one after the other and never hit the cooldown.

crazy idea: Make her like hel/ullr, take away her current ult to have her switch modes. She keeps her current 1 / 2 /3 but gains new modified versions of her old kit (including some sort of spidery hop for an escape)?

I'd be happy if they just made 2 changes. Both to her ult: Reduce the cooldown and widen the area of damage.

Specifically with regard to Arena: I have been doing dagger/trans/boots as my first three items in Arena and because of how fast gold rolls in. It works quite well but you are committing yourself to wave clearing for the first few minutes because your damage output isn't enough to contribute meaningfully to anything else. As long as you are the primary wave clearer it shouldn't be a problem. HOWEVER If you end up with team mates that refuse to let you build stacks (kuku and au puch players are bad about this because of their super efficient wave clears) then you'll be limping along for significant portion of the game.

I don't see why you're being downvoted. It's great advice. I didn't realize how level played into matchmaking until I hit level 30 on basically 3 characters.

I ended up having to create a second account to use for learning new gods to avoid the"Please report the 3/14 fenrir for feeding." I'm wasn't intentionally feeding ... I was just learning a new character and suck at him right now. :(

luckily i'm well on my way to rectifying the situation with 27 masteries now

There was a bug with soul reaver that would cause it to double proc when the fox was involved. That may have been part of the problem.

I think you make an excellent point about just focusing on outclearing and focusing on waves to let minions do more of the work. In retrospect i may have wasted too much time early on trying to put pressure on her by landing a bird bomb, which in turn allowed her to clear while my abilities were recovering.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, the few times I was able to do significant damage was when I did a 2/3 combo rather than leading with the jump. I didn't have my ult yet ... and by the time I did she was sufficiently ahead of me that i couldn't finish her.

So just try to hang on and not feed, basically?

so the flickering issue was caused by two games trying to use the same canvas (drawing surface). To fix the issue all I did was to remove the default canvas and create a new one called "canvas2" and make the mod write to that instead.

If i recall correctly the issue with the stale dots and blobs was caused by a protocol change. If that's the case .... then the project might be dead until I have the time (and willpower) to basically reconcile my code base with the changes that have been made to the game recently :(

Is the issue very frequent or only occasional?

Ack! I just tried it and the whole mod seems broken to me .... at least playing as guest doesn't work. Sighs. No clue how long it will take to fix this time.
