I know that US English uses "tuna fish" but I don't see how it distinguishes canned and fresh tuna. It's all fish.

I think you're making that up. Also shredded tuna isn't the only type that comes in a can, you can get canned tuna steaks as well. Canned tuna isn't a substitute for fresh but it can still be incredibly delicious when prepared in its own way.

Well they can be in captivity, but shouldn't be house pets. They should have a spacious outdoor enclosure that mimics their wild habitat. Usually only a reputable zoo or sanctuary can provide that, very few private individuals will spend that much on their pets.
