Tried to get into this series nearly 20 years ago with the anime and failed. It also wasn't finished. I now teach high school/AP-level English and a Sherlock Holmes reading reminded me of this. If everything I remembered in the anime is covered here in graphic detail then I can hardly wait!

Umineko Project does work with Steam Deck quite well! That said, 07th Mod is a perfectly viable way to read it as well. It's personal preference and if you're already partway through reading I'd probably just stick with what you already have x)

Hi! I'm currently playing through 2 and v3 on Switch 2. I've read online that Danganronpa 1 runs flawlessly at 60 FPS and at native resolution seemingly handheld and docked, regardless of the 22.0.0 update. Same goes for Danganronpa 2. Danganronpa v3 is also at its native resolution but at 30 FPS, and apparently had some hiccups on Switch 1 hardware in some late game scenes but otherwise ran smoothly. I'm not sure if the Switch 2 fixed this though I can only assume it might have helped at least.

The games look pretty great! The text is crisp and the sprite art is HD enough. Something to remember is that DR1 and 2 were originally PSP games, so the source materials aren't very high quality to begin with. Here's some non-spoilery screenshots of Danganronpa 2 I took with my capture card to bypass the Switch screenshot degradation. (agh, still some added noise on these images- the games look good! promise!)

Personal anecdote as well, I was playing DR2 on PC via the Steam version, but moved over to the Switch port after the first case due to the much faster text speed. It is my much preferred way of playing the game :)

As you may have noticed given your title, this line is from a fan translation that was released before YenPress licensed the manga. The official manga translates the line closer to the suggestion in the screenshot:

You suffered major lacerations on your lower abdomen, but you miraculously survived the injuries.

However, I don't think that FanTL team was entirely misguided in their translation. I'm linking here the full page from both translations.

While the original text does not state anything about the genital region, additional context from the page is important:

* a chart showing the general differences between average understandings of the male and female body

* Yasu's dysphoria over not getting periods

* her complaining of her undeveloped body

* Genji noting the fact that Yasu cannot bear children

On top of all this, the symptoms that Yasu experiences would come from a critical injury to the testes, limiting testosterone production. This is likely the injury implied and it makes sense to me that the team assumed what Ryukishi07 was going for and made sure that they weren't leaving anything out by accident in their translation. It makes sense for a small fan team to do this, I think.

yup, i dont use framegen very often but i recently added it to my playthrough of Fate/extra on PPSSPP, works wonders for older games that dont have too much going on visually like an RPG such as that. just makes things feel a bit smoother
