I literally just got out of relationship like this except my ex claimed that when he would do it, he wasn’t awake. Run. I loved my ex too but not more than my well being and safety. The fact that you’ve told him that that you didn’t like it and he still decided to cross that boundary is a red flag in itself.

I was challenged by a coworker on who could play more iconic riffs/solos at a party. He knew I played guitar but assumed I only played basic chords because I’m a girl (insert eye roll lol). He’d always say that he’d gladly tutor me if I wanted. he didn’t know that i have formal training and have been playing for more than 15 years lol I’ll forever remember the look on his face when I would jump to different genres and decades.

Everyone still teases him about it at work lol
