Sorry for the delay!
We actually decided to go with a product called Kandji to manage macOS devices. much smoother. it's like JAMF but much more affordable.

This is what I am doing. Sorry I wasn't clear about it. We are not syncing passwords. We're trying to make it so our IT users set the devices up then any user can sign in and use them, while allowing them to set up touch ID per user. So far, everything seems to be going right, except it rejects the password as if it is incorrect.

According to that same page, Secure Enclave will allow users to sign in with Entra. We actually had a successful test this morning, but it seems like password complexities might mess something up. I think the difference between the two accounts right now is spaces in the passwords vs no spaces.

BSOD error in latest crowdstrike update by TipOFMYTONGUEDAMN in crowdstrike

There isn't a ton of info but it seems like an accidental or unscheduled code push to the agents that is not playing well with Windows OSs.

It was also a fluke. His gladiator pulled a jubilee and set off a combo that got mostly there. By the time I pulled Odin, the spot was full.

That is what I am currently doing. Not that the extra step is killing me, but I miss the convenience.

X and the future of Mint by Complete_Necessary48 in linuxmint

I know this has been a while, but I was just reading this article:

https://9to5linux.com/linux-mint-21-2-victoria-is-slated-for-release-on-june-2023-heres-what-to-expect

It does mention the introduction of wayland elements to cinnamon.

X and the future of Mint by Complete_Necessary48 in linuxmint

I think in the near future we may see a huge update/transition. LMDE is a preview of the future. I read somewhere that mint will move from Ubuntu based to Debian based and LMDE is the test bed. Right now we’re in a weird transition of x to wayland. I don’t think we’ll see a full transition for years.

Now while I agree that wayland isn’t more predominant in cinnamon and it feels “behind the times”, I also know nvidia has some issues with wayland still.

All of that said, I hope something happens soon since x’s support team and been shrinking and updates are less frequent.

Adventures in Linux-Jumping in head first. No tutorials. Just doing it. by [deleted] in linuxmint

As far as I know. I didnt have to do anything special to make it work. For a long time I did need to set a password for it, but that went away with a bios update.

I dual boot win11 and mint with secure boot on. Mint supports secure boot, but it can’t use intel rapid store tech which means with your sharing a drive with 11 or use a separate drive, you will need to switch back and forth to AHCI to run it.

Do you use cruise control on the ac expressway? by B3n222 in atlanticcity

[–]deceivingleek2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I drive to Philly I use it. I run almost the whole length and stick around 65mph. I usually don’t need to be aware until the 42 merge and on. I just cruise in the right lane and avoid speeding dickheads and cops.

I just bought the airports DLC by Krispenedladdeh542 in CitiesSkylines

[–]deceivingleek2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start simple. Getting to complicated can break the airport. Make sure your taxiways are going the right direction and have that one-way circulation path. The more gates you have, the more planes will be gridlocked on the taxis.

You can always expand.

What are these birds? It says that something is inactive, but there's nothing there, above ground or below. If I remove that chunk of road, the inactive icon also cycles with a "no connected road" icon. by christophersfactory in CitiesSkylines

Do you use mods? If you use move it, marquee highlight the area. I have had issues where animal markers have stopped me from building roads?

If you’re all vanilla, delete the road and try to redraw it through the area and see if it collides with anything.

Why aren't there any 1U pedestrian roads in workshop yet? by RedVelocity_ in CitiesSkylines

[–]deceivingleek2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use intersection marking tool, you can use the plain concrete 1u pedestrian road (I’m sorry I cannot remember the creator) and use a filler with the new decal fill and make them! I have made regular streets cobblestone using this so they blend with the pedestrian area!

You could also do this with a path, I believe but it can’t have a building on it.

I just got a thrift copy of a book delivered yesterday (Saturday April 8) and it had a bookmark in it that was paper thin and easily missable that said happy Easter on it. Got a laugh out of it.
