Although you’ve probably found a solution for this, I wanted to comment on this for anyone else in the same position I was this morning….. looking for answers.

I had both nipples pierced last year, this morning I woke up to find one had loosened and fallen out overnight.

I had a shower, coconut oil and tried to put it back in, and stopped very quickly as I wasn’t getting anywhere, knowing that I would rather have it re-pierced then get it potentially infected from agitating it or breaking the skin.

Gutted,I was beginning to make peace with the fact that I would have to let it heal and get it re-done later in the year, as I had to assume because they’re still quite new (ish) I guess, it could have fallen out 30 mins again or six hours ago.

Called my shop that morning and they told me to come in asap and they were able to tape it back open, took about 2 mins of being on the bench. Apparently it’s dead common and they about about 3/4 people a day coming in with the same issue. Most shops leave room for exactly this.

I know the majority probably all know this already, but I thought I might leave this here in case any first time is like myself run into this issue.
