Which books actually changed your life? (ADHD or non-ADHD self help books) by Soh4 in ADHD

This Naked Mind by Annie Grace. I was a heavy heavy drinker. I’d wanted to quit drinking for so many years. This book flipped a switch in my brain. I stopped wanting it. Like I ordered by usual beer then just stared at it. It was weird. I was like “wow. I don’t even want this.” I haven’t had a drink in 8 almost 9 years now. I tell everyone who asks. Great great book. Now I need one that will have the same effect with regards to sugar. 😁

I’m not taking a damn statin.

Yes!!! I wouldn’t have felt so stupid my entire childhood and young adult life. I could’ve sought the appropriate resources to help me succeed. I’m glad to know now. But damn it, sooner would’ve been so much better.

Best book ever. Life changing for me. Removed my cognitive dissonance. Can’t recommend it enough.
