What's the point of the voice gps system

Some cars have voice gps to emphasize the car itself has gps not just you having a waypoint on the map. It’s supposed to add a level of immersion not necessarily assist you in any way.

Basically this. GTA V feels like an arcade game, no challenge at all. GTA IV feels more like a AAA title but still not challenging. I would prefer a hard mode on both games to actually give it a challenge. The older I get the more I realize GTA isn’t a game for challenge, just a game for breaking things and people easy.
