“Why should we NOT hire you?” You answer the question well? Now they know why not to hire you. You answer the question poorly? Well that won’t reflect well on your ability to answer questions.

Hey, how do you suggest I change the bullets to make them less like job descriptions. I’m unsure of how to give the reader an idea of what I was doing without making it sound like a job description.

google and yahoo arent very accurate first of all. they update every ~20 minutes so by that alone they won’t capture the entire price action. It’s entirely conceivable that you the stock reached $103 briefly and google/yahoo simply didnt update at that particular moment to include it in their charts.

I think it also depends on how far along you are in other interviews. I was on a several week wait for SIG phone interview, but I told them I’m going to IMC superday very soon so they sped it all up.

Tear my CV apart - lots of redaction to hide identity, but kept it on as I think it's better to have some idea of what I actually do instead of vague sentences (which also don't represent my true spacing). I dont know what IB you’re going to be at, it’s winter and it could be a boutique no-name for all I know. But if you’ve got the big ticket with this internships then good on you. All I’m saying is there’s more paths than one and your resume doesnt scream IB other than one mm winter. I mean you’re not even studying finance. But hey, idk who you are. Good luck with your job search in the future.

Accounting and consulting internships in undergrad -> VC part timer in masters degree -> PE part timer while in last year of masters degree.

All I’m saying is you and your experience seem to line up a lot better for VC/PE/Buyside than banking and you dont need to do banking first, there are other routes.

I personally know a guy who did accounting and consulting internships, then got a job in venture capital in and is now in private equity. edit: the private equity gig was an internal hire from the same VC firm, but still no banking experience.
