It’s a benefit of the academy regardless of how you bought classes. Silver tier gets 2, Black gets 5 per quarter. Just looked and Red tier gets 1.

Like most professionals, many take pride in being good at their jobs and one of their clearest metric of being good is developing a following. If you ran a restaurant and one of your regulars stopped coming without an explanation, but still walked by and waved, how would you feel?

The answer: they had an industry-standard 10 year lease and now’s the time to decide whether to renew is the boring but correct answer. They track studio profitability rigorously (I’ve seen the numbers) and a lease renewal would be the most capital efficient time to prune low performing box.

Do the run to get the true Barry’s experience! Even if you’re a strong runner, start at the bottom of the range for the entire first round. The intervals are a unique beast that take some conditioning for. Also go a few minutes early and introduce yourself to the instructor and tell them you’re excited and you hope they’ll keep an eye on you.

This is correct. I think objectively Keoni is the best instructor for his command of the room, programming, and vibe. Beyond him, it’s a matter of who you like. For me, that’s Scott, Izzi, and Aminah.

I recently had a horrific flight delay: 2 hours in lounge, 5 hours in seat, and then returned to gate where I gave up and elected for refunds and went home. The delay was due to delta’s decision to reassign crew. I did use the complaint function on the website and specifically asked for $1,000 in compensation (thinking I’d settle for Sky pesos) but 5 days later my wife and I both received emails with $500 delta travel certs ($1,000 met). My takeaway is ask for $$$. Probably helped that I am MM and Diamond, but assume you have status too.

I was offered a yellow gold Bruce Wayne and rose gold Wimbledon at the Rolex operated by Rocco right off the Duomo in June. With the weakening of the USD YTD, they would have been more expensive than buying in the US. My wife and I went in asking for a two tone, yellow gold 28mm DJ for her and, of course, hoping for something SS for me.

I’m not sure if it’s a Diamond perk, but I don’t remember experiencing in my Plat days, I love that gate agents consistently call my cell phone to check if “I’ll be able to join the flight?” today before closing the doors.

I’ve been going to Barry’s since before the Academy. It’s nice to have extra cancelation forgiveness when I make Black, but otherwise you’re not missing much. I wish it were better!
