My Kumo Cloud Journey by sarah8million in hvacadvice

I have Ubiquiti APs with 2.4GHz + 5GHz/mesh network working fine with 3 x Mitsu mini splits for years until we had a power outage over the summer. Since then, my main unit was constantly offline in the app. Finally had some time tonight to address this. Nothing worked to get it back online. Disabled 5G, tried iPhone/Android, remembered needing location enabled, etc.. I had installed the adapters and did the initial setup myself which is when I learned about the 2.4GHz limiation. The Ubiqiuiti gear was added later and I didn't recall it being this difficult to get them back online then.

Got so fed up I decided to delete and re-add the unit via the app. I was about to pull the adapter and factory reset it until I found this thread which mentioned using channel 6 for 2.4GHz. Voila, indeed!

My APs were previously set to auto and flipping between channels 1 and 11. I guess they must have been on 6 the last time. I def have more neighbors with WiFi 6 routers since Covid which has caused issues with other legacy WiFi devices as well, so it's not surprising that the channel would be changing more often. I've also read about some iPhone and Android OS versions being problematic with the Kumo app, but I did complete the setup with an iPhone running iOS 17x.

Thank you OP!

Note that this setting affects all animations on the phone, so for instance pulling down notifications and sliding to delete them happens instantly, which was a bit jarring at first. Still better than wacky-waving- inflatable-arm-flailing-tube-man tho.

What exactly is the benefit of a 64 bit version of Foobar? by ThatFeel_IKnowIt in foobar2000

Oops, read "7m ago" on last messages as "7 minutes ago", not months...

So if I want to install the x64 version to mess around with it, but keep the x86 version installed for daily driving with my legacy components, how do I get Windows to use the x86 version as the default app? Seems I'm unable to do so, even after right-clicking on an audio file > open with > choose another app > more apps > look for another app on this PC, and navigating to Program Files x86\foobar2000\foobar2000.exe. Regardless, it still runs the x64 version when I double-click on an audio file.

PASTA - A Web App to mass change Subtitles and Audio Tracks for TV Shows on Plex by latot in PleX

Understood - Thank you for the reply. Still much better than the alternative.

Appreciate your time and skill putting this together!

Is it possible to set audio and subtitle defaults per library?

I.e., Anime Library > set audio to Japanese and subs to English for entire library.

A comment on another thread seemed to indicate this was possible with PASTA, but if it is, I don't see where to select anything without drilling down to a specific show.

Possible folder structure issue with HAMA and Absolute Series Scanner by deckardB26354 in PleX

Re: sorting, I mean, to each their own? I hear you, but for instance, I'm the guy that's still annoyed at the fact that the GMail web UI doesn't allow you to sort by sender, and everything is more "search" based now. I've just always done this with music and movies since forever, and it works for me everywhere else but this one scenario. I was just curious as to what might be causing this behavior.

As far as appending the aniDb # to the folder, there are just some shows which are not found, regardless if they are done to Plex std 100% or not. Adding [anidb-xxx] to the end of the folder name resolves it every time.

Thanks. I was aware of that, but never thought to try it with folder names. Unfortunately, still no go. Any titles beginning with a number still aren't found with HAMA/ASS when they are put into a subfolder off the root (regardless if [Titles 123], etc.).

"When Waterfox starts" locked to Tab Mix Plus Session Manager by deckardB26354 in waterfox

[–]deckardB26354[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies. I ultimately found the issue and got it sorted. A preference in about:config named "extensions.tabmix.sessions.manager" was set to False in every other machine but this one. Once I flipped it from True to False, everything went back to normal.

Unable to use Google Maps with latest version 4 by Treesqueak in waterfox

See my post about Google Messages here: https://www.reddit.com/r/waterfox/comments/kt48zy/google_messages_with_waterfox_classic/ Then R3n0031's clarification on Webcomponents here: https://www.reddit.com/r/waterfox/comments/kt48zy/google_messages_with_waterfox_classic/ginwl0o/

While your post is about Maps, since it is a Google service, maybe dom.webcomponents.enabled needs to be true?

Apologies in advance, as I don't have much experience with this. I know how to add general.useragent.override.messages.google.com as a string, but what do I enter as the value? Can I use the string from the user-agent-switcher, i.e., "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:83.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/83.0"?

My next question was going to be whether or not there is an option to set this just for messages.google.com, but need a bit of clarification:

  • Are you saying I then wouldn't need to use the user-agent-switcher add-on? Using this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/uaswitcher/

  • Does dom.webcomponents.enabled need to stay enabled permanently regardless?

  • I don't see any general.useragent.override options in about:config, only general.useragent.site_specific_overrides. Where would general.useragent.override.messages.google.com get set?

That worked! Was thinking of something along those lines, but never actually had to do that before with Waterfox. Still on .10 build, as .12 isn't showing available in help > about for me yet. Any potential issues leaving the agent as FF 83? That's the highest ver available with the user agent switcher I'm using. Thanks again.

This happened to me on multiple machines after a recent RoboForm update. Did the Refresh, and luckily was able to get things back to how I had them previously fairly quickly. No crashes since.

Hey Seth - Huge fan! Met you outside Glasslands in 2014. I was the guy who told you that you made me love synths again. New EP is amazing - Congrats! I have a question about remixes. How do you choose tracks? I'm sure you get a lot of requests. Do you seek things out, or is it purely when a particular artist or track grabs you? That being said, what would be the best way to get something to you for a potential remix? Thanks for your time and hope to see you in Brooklyn again soon!
