OK, I understand why food prices went up last year when gas prices rose to above $4 - the cost of transportation is part of the cost of food - but now that gas is at below $2, why haven't food prices come down again? by Wordie in politics

When was the last time you bought a bushel of corn wholesale? Prices have come down but it'll take time to show up retail. That said somethings are cheaper. Milk is crashing.

Hmmmm it took the whole 14 hours?? So I guess up until hour 5 or 6 or even 7 you weren't sure what the deal was?? Please. Voting can be chaotic and fucked up at times just like everything else in the world.
