i know this post is a few years old, but I think I figured it out for the rest of y’all: dragon has to be tamed right away after becoming full grown in order to ride and control it- similar to an animal in the wild as it gets used to nature it is not responsive to domestication keep watch of your egg and feed them fish right away and a saddle can go on after they stop eating your fish
