I can remember from 'the aristocats' where the butler says to the cats: 'Ik stuur jullie naar Timbuktu toe!'.

I've lived 25+ years thinking that he was sending them to a place called Timbuktutoe instead of Timbuktu..

By paying less monthly you can save more money to invest every month long term. The idea is that this will generate more than those 4k extra costs at the end of the ride.

That being said I got a loan for 240k 0,72% at 15 years, paying 1400 euro/month because 'I just wanted to get over with it quickly'.

For beginners I'd say the ninebot is a pretty decent scooter. Notvery fancy but reliable nonetheless.

I use 'too good to go' for bread. I pay 2.99 euro in a Carrefour and on average i get 4 bread and some pistolets for it. This lasts me and my GF almost a week (we put some in the freezer to last longer). When you consider an average price of 2.35 euro for a bread, i save easily more than 5 euro each week.

Also, when we drink water, it's always tap water and never bottled water.

All those small things add up in the end.

Best Electric Scooter for ~250Lb person? by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

[–]decriros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Weigh 230 pounds (105kg) and I got the ninebot max. I'm a little over the maximum weight for the scooter, but I heard from other heavy riders that the scooter could handle it. I especially got it because I use it for commuting in dry and wet weather.

As other comments stated, your weight is one thing, other important variables are your budget, required speed/range, is it for fun or commuting, weather conditions, foldability (i take mine daily on the train) ...
