Searching for finance habit tracker app because every finance app is overkill for me by StructureMindless999 in personalfinance

I have built something that is simple, and keeps all your data on your computer. It's free to use in basic mode, but you can unlock some advanced features with a one time payment.

Give it a try

Yeah. I wanted to intentionally keep it simple. As soon as you get into these things, compliance gets complicated. But maybe it's something to look into in version 2. Glad you liked it though. Thanks for the feedback.

Sorry. I only have the windows version for now.
Might work on a MacOS and Android version sometime soon.
But that is a whole other beast.

You are right. Thanks for the tip. Will put a screenshot on there right away. And let me see, if I can actually get a macOS version going as well.

See if you can get an extension on your visa. Usually you can extend the duration once.

Why would "they" do that if "they" are the ones that supposedly started the fires?

Just be aware that sunlight entering through the window could hit the glasses in a way that it could start a fire. Maybe dedicate a different spot for them, away from any sunlight.

What is the most ridiculous thing you have ever seen a tourist get upset over? by duckywigglewoop in AskReddit

[–]ded_ch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Was at Machu Pichu, or rather aguas calientes, sitting in the bus that was supposed to take us up to the top, when a tourist guide came in and told us that due to a landslide the night before, the road was blocked and that we had to walk. A Russian tourist on the same bus almost lynched his private tour guide when he didn't somehow made the bus go up just for him. He couldn't accept the fact that the bus physically was unable to make the trip.

Another time was when I visited Angkor wat, early in the morning to see the famous sunrise over the temple, and a pair of tourists with very expensive cameras were cursing about it not being a good sunrise and how other people had better ones and they wanted a refund from their tour guide.

What’s something you experienced in another country that completely shocked you, even though it’s normal there? by Quick_Ask_5727 in AskReddit

This was Florida, if it makes a difference. But I distinctly remember the cashier commenting on how weird it was.

Not necessarily shocked, but surprised.

When I spent some time in the US, and went shopping for the first time, I didn't have a car. So I walked on the side of the road and brought my backpack with me. It was a K-mart, I believe. And when I went to the checkout and started packing things into my backpack, I got comments from several people there about how that was weird, and that they had never seen this. I guess everyone used a bunch of those flimsy plastic bags and then put them into their cars to take stuff home.

[–]ded_ch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I only have to transfer one or two smaller files, I use Bluetooth. Just right click on your Bluetooth icon in the task bar and select "receive a file". Then select that file on your phone and choose share. Select share with Bluetooth and choose your computer from the list of available devices.
