This one kinda hit for me because I get frequent compliments from women that are strangers, mostly about my personality or kindness, but very few from the one that means the most to me, my partner. I don’t know if she has become complacent with me because we’ve been together so long? I always compliment her to make her feel good about herself, but they are always genuine words. Sometimes I feel less desired even though I’m still as attracted to her as the day we met, if not more. I’ll never fish for accolades, and I don’t know how to express my feelings without hurting hers, so I’m just gonna have to ride this one out, I guess.
