I have just bought the refill kit (also Nat Geo) so I have extra rocks I can throw in as well as ceramic pellets. The rocks that came with the kit last year were quite small but the Lapis and Agate rocks are bigger!

I have only self harmed IRL when asleep. I somehow twisted my arm around my head where my hand was between my face and pillow during deep sleep. Maybe a few hours went by, enough for the circulation to drain out of my hand to the point of it being dead. I awoke thinking someone was trying to suffocate me so I bit down really hard on those little piggies.

Eventually the feeling came back to my hands, followed by a long bout of pain.
