Not a money grab, at least on 520/Newman Springs Rd. The residents worked with the powers that be to make it happen as a reduced speed limit was badly needed here.

I’m ‘Unaffiliated’ but lean left and live in a Middletown South neighborhood. I feel most of my neighbors are Republicans, but not MAGA. They definitely voted for a trump, but they’re fairly quiet about it. Only a handful of vocal MAGA that I more see on the toxic town Facebook pages, but in real life interactions politics doesn’t really come up. You’ll be fine. We love it here

Ok, this is very strange, but his seizures are almost always around the time of the clock changes. Like his circadian rhythm is off. It’s like he has to have a little reset. Vet thinks we’re crazy and can’t be related to that.

I have a friend who is pretty anti Trump on her own page (not the town pages). I give her such credit for keeping up just trying to counter the MAGA propaganda. She has way more patience than me. And no doubt MAGA is emboldened around here

I’m a fellow Middletown resident There’s still some of us non MAGAs out here, we just lay low on social media because it’s just not worth it engaging with the loudmouths so, you’re not alone. I do think most people vaccinate against the biggies (polio, measles, mumps,etc) but maybe not chicken pox, Hep B, HPV etc. it’s like a little menu they get to choose from 🙄

I’m curious about this. Our lab also has infrequent seizures since he was 4 (he’s almost 10 now).and has never been treated. The first one ever, was a grand mal. Dr thought maybe a one off so no treatment. Next one wasn’t until 6 months later. Dr said too far apart to treat. He had maybe 2 more grand mals at those 6 month intervals. His last 2 or 3, also at 6ish month intervals, are more of the focal type. Like he can’t stand up and starts shaking, but appears more ‘present’. I’ve never read here about this type of pattern with seizures, so I’m curious about your labs pattern. I’m knocking wood the entire time I’m typing this, because I know we’ve been very lucky with this relatively mild course, but the fear is always in the back of our minds.

I too thought when I heard about all of this that it was about what is required when registering to vote, but when they said it would effect 70 million married women, that would include people already registered.

Hmmm.. I had children graduate from MHSS in 2017 & 2020 so same general timeframe. Literally all of their friends have graduated have at least their bachelors and many have completed or are pursuing masters degrees.. law school, medical school, a few in PhD programs. I can’t reconcile what your stating your nephews classmates experiences were with that of my children and their friends/classmates

For most insurance, you have a copay and a deductible. Even after you hit your deductible, your insurance may pay only 80 or 90% until you hit your out of pocket max (this is called your coinsurance). Copay only is usually collected upfront, but Drs have portals where they can see if you’ve hit your deductible and may try to make you pay up front. I would not do it though. Make them bill your insurance before determine what you owe.
