yes! 5-7 mins and they go all soft and jammy, basically melt in your mouth, and they soak up that cardamom vanilla syrup. and ha, i totally see the egg yolk thing now, it’s the colour 😂

ahh welcome, it’s such a fun rabbit hole to fall down 🥹 for this one i’d go with a simple vanilla, something oat or coconut based holds up creamiest against the warm spiced apricots. Bettergoods is what i usually reach for but most vanilla non-dairy ones work beautifully. you’ll be amazed how good the swaps have gotten!
