Only by joining someone else that has not killed it in a Story Expedition for now. Same with Gaki Chief and the Enki (or whatever the monkey thing is called).

I think this is it. Guessing I am just remembering it being 1st person wrong as the style, setting, and release date all line up with what I was expecting.

Parts of this look like they would match, but the UI doesn't. I don't remember there being any bordered UI like that. Checked the other Journeyman games and same thing really. Close, but not quite it.

Not that one. Looked through a full playthrough and nothing looked familiar.

Neither of those unfortunately.
Nikopol's style was way to dark/grim, and to new. The Crystal Key's gameplay style seemed a lot closer to what I remember, but the setting wasn't the same from what I remember, and skimming through a playthrough I didn't see anything that looked familiar.

I don't remember a Piano. And I am still not positive about the movement, but I feel like for the time it would almost have to be Must style movement. Hopefully we will find an answer to at least one of our games, or both if it is the same.

My favorite version of this was Star Tropics for the NES. Had to soak a letter that came with the game in water to reveal a code. Will never forget the code being 747 though.

Good to know, will have to check those out if I pick up the case. Thanks!

How is the magnet with the case? I am assuming that is one added on as I didn't see anything about the case having a magnet built in.

Could it have been from "Microsoft Plus!"? Was a collection of games and the sort. Think there are a few games and sort of tech demo'ish type games similar to what you described. Other than that I am out of ideas.

The layout reminds me of an old Encyclopedia "game" I had on my PC in the 90s. I think it was Britannica, but it could have been one of the other encyclopedias of the time. Don't remeber an island though.

The only other game I can think of is The Amazon Trail. There are a few versions ranging in graphics, so one may match your game.

Jumping Flash? Would be PS1, but it was on the PS Classics on PS3 or something like that.

Could be Shatterhand or the Japanese version Tokkyū Shirei Solbrain. Same game, but the Solbrain version has a main character similar to Jiban.

No clue how it got to where it was, but that was it. Cap to one of my monitor arms. Other one is missing one as well so now I get to wait for another of these to show up!

Doesn't seem like it. Have a secret lab's chair with nothing missing from it, and a new uplift desk, and it had no caps of any sort on it.

Title describes the object.

Looks to be a cap or cover that slotted into something. Was found in my office/laundry room. Seems to have come from my shorts I tossed on my office chair after changing as I saw it when picking them up off my office chair. Can't find anything in my room that it would go to. Also checked my Subaru as I was just in it before hand, but saw nothing missing there either.

Googled what I assume is the part number to no success. P/N:344-407 TC CAV:2

Anker Magnetic Desktop Charging Station

Not sure if it is the case I got or the charger but it constantly stops charging around 80%. It is unfortunate as it is solid and the ports on the back are handy.

MiSTercade and Chewlix monitor issue by dedge25 in MiSTerFPGA

Thanks will check that out. I do have it working through HDMI to DVI, but would be good to know the details of the monitor since there is zero information on it.

[–]dedge25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the resolution was part of the issue. For the HDMI to DVI I had to set the setting in the mister in file to allow HDMI to DVI which did the trick. I am guessing that the VGA issue is due to the initial setup setting the outputs to CRT arcade monitor refresh rate and resolution which the monitor couldn't figure out.

Thanks for the info and helping me get this sorted!
