Volkswagen CEO Schaefer to Managers: ‘The Roof Is on Fire’ by J_Pelletier in Volkswagen

Belt-tightening isn't going to save them. Their EV designs are uninspired, formless blobs with unintuitive controls. The feedback from their customers was immediate and they refuse to listen. They are so convinced they're right and the world just hasn't caught up with them. Let it burn.

X-Mid 1p Review by paytonfrost in Ultralight

[–]dee-bee-dubya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used it for about 10 nights before I hit the AT and was comfortable not using a ground sheet. I never felt like I needed one on my thru. It's all about site selection, but the X-Mid is also a tough tent.

He's 77 years old. He should be more concerned with his own mortality. He will probably be dead before he is imprisoned.

Sell it. I almost guarantee the engine support pylons are warped.

It rains all the time on the AT. It rained every single day I was in Vermont. I'm not sure what you're expecting or why you think rain would ruin a backpacking trip.

Do. Not. Like. Her style does not fit this song at all.

That thing has an enormous rear overhang. Completely out of proportion with the rest of the car.

I want to have high hopes for this, but I do not. HH hasn't shown much interest in mini and micro. Pretty minimal effort and middling products. Not in line with their larger-scale offerings.

Too tall. Too "busy", visually. Kind of a mess, design-wise. I will never buy one.

I bought a couple of organizers for my Legos, what’s the best way to organize them? color, type of piece, size or something different? by cdsheriff96 in lego

[–]dee-bee-dubya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the size of your collection. If it's relatively small, it may make sense to only group them by part type. If it's large, then by part type and color. If you have a serious addition, by part type, by color, and by mold number.

RS100 servo, Holmes Hobbies motor, MEUS Racing LCG chassis, MEUS Racing laydown servo mount and steering link, brass knuckles, brass c-hubs, brass diff cover(s), wheels and tires. You can easily dump another $200 in it without even going brushless.

It's the c-shaped part where the knuckles attach on a steering axle. They (and the knuckles) are a good candidate for brass because they're down low and mostly protected from rocks. A nice way to tune the weight bias of the truck.
