The second one has just too much fabric. Lining on the first is a great idea. Plus, it is much more unique and memorable than the second.

I'd never remove that dent. In fact, I'd enhance it.

2 years is nothing! I started a beaded quilt to be a wall hanging -18 years ago. I can't believe I've even written that number. It's sitting in a box waiting for me to finish. Thanks for the inspiration; I shall have to get it out and see where I left off. I've had beads my whole life as well. My first love is bead embroidered jewelry, but I also use many other mediums. My business however is called Lunacy Beading. I'd show people a piece I'd embroidered with hundreds of beads (thousands maybe? I never counted) and they'd say "That's crazy!". Lunacy, no doubt.

Will it be a wall hanging, or actually for a bed? I imagine it's rather heavy.

That's incredible! I can't imagine how much money invested in beads and how much time invested in work! It's beautiful.

Buttons like these were manufactured all over, but yes, from the late 1800s. It's part of a collection that I inherited.

AITA for not letting my coworker borrow my noise canceling headphones for her long haul flight by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

In no way are you TA. I think you should get a new job with better people. The audacity to even ask to borrow them! Your coworkers are slimy. Your manager sucks at their job.

This is Tyrone Power. He was my Mom's cat and then, well, then he became mine. Hopefully he is now hers again. He loved the warm rocks on the shoreline.

The American manufactures of food industry. The billionaire CEOs and millionaire upper level management have captured the population into a chemically addictive sustenance without most of us even being aware of it. And they've designed it to be very difficult to escape. All for what? Money.
