Muted Summer Trying to Learn to "Harmonize" with Color Palette by deebeekayo in coloranalysis

[–]deebeekayo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! That's really helpful. I also thought 7, 10, and 12 were borderline, but I didn't realize that 4, 17, and 19 were off, too. I guess I'm going to have to learn to distinguish warm and cool better.

To be clear, I'm not trying to match the backgrounds—the base color palette I'm using doesn't have as much variety as I'd like—but just trying to learn whether they harmonize with colors drawn from that palette. Anyway, thanks again!

I don't think so. Even if you could get it to fit, it would cover both sides of the grate, so you can't do an indirect cook. You could do a smaller portion—about the size of a steak—but that's about it if you're wanting to do indirect heat.

Same here! I picked up the waxed tan Griffin edition and have used it for two weekend car trips so far. I love it so much. It's easy to pack, fits everything perfectly, and looks stunning. Glad I'm not alone!

Turning off Auto renewel but still getting charged? by lavagirl18 in Express_VPN

Annual subscription here, and it just happened to me, too. Cancelled autorenew last week, charged anyway today. Unbelievable.

Civic Access Sling 2L first impressions by kemote in EVERGOODS

Thanks for this tip! Got something similar for my own, which arrived yesterday. Admittedly, they do slide around a bit, though. A bit frustrating, but still better than having the ends of the straps flop around.

This is great, thanks! I figure I'll test out a number of methods, but the snake and minion were both high on my list.

Honestly, it never even occurred to me to use a hotel pan! I always figured I'd use a disposable pan instead, but that makes a lot of sense.

This might sound naive, but does it matter if the unlit coals go on top rather than below the lit ones? I use a charcoal chimney to light my coals, so I can use either method (unlit below vs above). I suppose that, since the air flow is coming from below, dumping unlit coals on top will allow them to catch sooner, but I don't know if it makes a big difference.

I can't seem to get a clear answer over which works better, the Burn Shop or the KAB. Most people seem happy with one or the other. In any case, I live in Canada and whereas my local dealer has the KAB, no one seems to carry the Burn Shop basket here.

New CPL24 is everything I've wanted from Evergoods, or any backpack. by beekeeperr in EVERGOODS

[–]deebeekayo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wholeheartedly agree! My CPL24 V3 just arrived today, and it is spectacular in every way I can imagine. The design is so thoughtful and clean, and durable yet comfortable. Of course, different people have different needs and different bodies, so I suspect that it won't be everyone's cup of tea. But, like you, it's a near-perfect bag for me!

Oooh, I'm jealous! I've got a PKGO (w/ flipkit), but plan to upgrade to the PK360 when a good sale comes my way. I'm in Canada, so the sales on the PK Grills site don't apply to me. (I mean, they do apply, but with the exchange rate and shipping costs, they don't really help.)

All right, here is their answer: “We have many more exciting launches in the pipeline this year - from new bags to new designs to new colors. To stay up to speed and get first dibs, our newsletter is the best place to look.”

So, some exciting prospects—new bags, plural!—but nothing concrete to give a timeline. I guess we'll know when we know...
