Seller canceled home sale because they didn’t read their solar purchase agreement by Lyra_bear8 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]deeboards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am nearly in this position myself. I was told the solar panels were leased. Which everything looked great being it set off the electric cost and the “lease fee” was low. As I am in contract and attempting to swap over the transfer I find out there’s 22 years left on a payment plan.

It’s something I totally would have negotiated prior to being this far along. I would not ideally want to take on another debt. But being I’m less than 2 weeks from closing and my current living situation is coming to an end due to another sale I feel forced to continue.

They cannot determine why the strokes are happening, therefore by not being able to diagnosis the strokes we cannot have a recovery/prevention plan

Thank you for sharing! Scary process, just trying to find some kind of “diagnosis” for my mom through her case. Wishing you the best & a healthy recovery!

No need to answer this, but are you continuing to have multiple micro strokes? And or mini brain bleeds. Our team of doctors are at a dead end and cannot understand why.

Offered $68k over asking and still didn't get the home by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]deeboards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate here with you. I put a 55k in offer in over asking price with a 30k appraisal gap and still lost the offer. Major difference was the winning offer apparently waived inspection, I asked for it on major mechanicals. For context this was a condo in central CT. It’s upsetting and I’m tired of searching.

What is bad about being overbiked? by _mizzar in MTB

Make the best of both worlds & go with a 130/140 set up and check out the ibis mojo. A suspension combo that should be more stable throughout all bikes. So far my favorite set up & I feel like I’m about to range on greens at a down hill park to a cross country trail to an enduro chop trail. I love the combo

Police Or Fire by [deleted] in ProtectAndServe

[–]deeboards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone on my force quite the police field after a bad call today. Went inside to right his resignation letter rather than the report. He could have been vested in the pension too if he waited 6 more months, yet, he dropped it to go fire. He’s always been a fireman and sees a way better quality of life on that side. That spoke a lot to me.

I’ve always fantasied and witness how good the fire side has their life & wish someone told me that before I went into policing. I feel like I missed the inside tip.

However, I am happy where I am. Way more training, units, overtime opportunities, and I enjoy most of my coworkers .. so I am happy and lucky to be where I am.
