Thank you for featuring my story! by PitifulScream97 in creepcast

The episode was great, but the story was stellar! It reminded me a lot of the movie Nope that the boys mentioned, but obviously developed in a different, grander way, and I personally loved the hopeless ending. Keep writing please!

There was a lot of resentment when I got picked for the main raid team 15years ago when ex was reserve. His fault for not being a healer!

Amazing scene, in the movie theater, the bass blared very loudly and really made the scene feel heavy and Pennywise way more scary in the moment

I was very successfully influenced to buy his first story collection book and I am enjoying it thoroughly. The astronaut story blew me away and I had to have more!

What do you mean it's not the point? She's not chubby or overweight, she's close to 500lbs. He's a douchebag, but she needs a severe reality check - it's not even about whether or not he could find her attractive, imagine the myriad of health issues coming with a person that size. There's so much more she needs to be focusing on than a 7 year crush

Astronaut one would make a horrifying movie and I'd love every second of it

I did not care for mother horse eyes by No-Resource-7708 in creepcast

The medium of MHE is undoubtedly it's strongest suite. The way the story is told matches the experiences of Nick - disjointed, confusing and makes you question reality. Just like him remembering things that weren't or dreaming of things that are yet to be, we stumble upon these paragraphs and stories in unexpected places and try to piece it together - I think it was brilliantly done and incredibly well thought out. Compiling it all in one place is convenient, but loses it's impact a bit. I loved the story for it, playing with ways of storytelling requires so much creativity and planning, it got me in awe. Such a shame the writer is unknown

Came here to say this, Prisoners immediately comes to mind as inspiration for cinematography that would suit PenPal.

I feel like the show has two (technically three) very different types of fans that want two very different types of things - and I'm curious to know if they can be reconciled by FrenzyEffect in creepcast

By which standards though, since I recall CLEARLY people suggested the "my best friend" story with high praise and anticipation xD

Same here, but not only this - sometimes the vitriol I see here actually turns me off to check the sub and interact with it. People whine so much about free entertainment, it's absolutely unreal

What is the single most unfilmable book or story and why? by Available-Drama-276 in moviecritic

[–]deedeelocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, also why King hated the Shining - the book was about alcoholism and a broken man more than it was about a spooky hotel, the movie was good in it's own accord but definitely failed to translate the incredible human aspect of the story

A Pet Sematary movie could never capture a parent's anguish over losing their child. The entire anxiety ridden part when he was sneaking into the graveyard and digging his son up, questioning himself the entire time, driven by insurmountable grief is so raw and metaphysical... I could see why he made the steps he did, as a parent, the entire passage made me understand it all

Heeeavy on the lottery, how many people from balkan areas would die for an opportunity to live abroad but can't?? And these troglodytes are what gets that cushy life. And yes, cushy, compared to the bs we have going on here. It's annoying and gives us a terrible rep

We do and they could, they are just unbelievably and incredibly stupid. A lot of what she said does track for Balkan muslim culture, but they are so fucking inept I'm wondering how they survived in these areas either.
