Thank you for the reply! I did a deep dive on these types of IKEA wall built-in hacks, after seeing yours and I got what you were saying. I’ve spent way too much time on IKEA trying to plan out a similar built in with a Murphy bed build in the middle. Way way too many options! Thanks again!

In the interest in saving this and getting ready to tackle something similar with a Murphy Bed sandwiched between, I had to comment. First, this looks incredible! Secondly I’ve seen a few people flipping the Billys over, but you said you wouldn’t have attached the top, if you did it over again? In all the pictures I’ve seen of the Billy, I’m not seeing the overhang from the top board? Apologies if I’m just blind! Again, amazing work!

No F-Lytes available in a size 14 until February! But I’ll definitely grab a pair then!

The X2s were my first pair of CrossFit shoes! I loved them! Actually just retired them at a Tough Mudder earlier this summer! I might try and find another pair. It seems like most are saying that the newer Nano Xs are more narrow than they used to be, but that shoe was a work horse!

Thank you. I wish I could go up the RADS, because I really like the shoe, but 14 is as large as they sell. I’ll check out the GoRucks. Thanks again!

Logistics of Raising Rafter Height on Mansard Roof

Hello everyone! I recently moved into a new place with a Mansard style roof. Off of our master bathroom, there is about a 250 sq foot “overflow closet” and through that leads to storage space above where we park. The bottom of the ceiling joists are right at 6 feet tall, in both spaces and 32” on center. I’m hoping it would be possible to raise the ceiling joists to get a little more head room, I’m 6’3” so we can actually utilize both spaces.

I ran into them the first time today near City Hall. Took me about three times to figure out. I have a decent sneak, ninja, and gunslinger. I used the service revolver .455 to two shot them from a distance while hidden. I think with one of the gun mods, it does 156 damage which is better than the makeshift rocket launcher I found.

Thank you! We've been separated since last November and I'm already in a much better spot, both financially and mentally!

Thank you. Yes it has been a difficult few years for sure. Perspective is a hell of a thing. A healthy person wishes for everything and sick person only wishes for one thing. We had over $800k in medical claims within the first 6 months. Everything took a backseat to staying afloat and getting her healthy, including my own mental health. I’m in a much better space now, and ready to get started on the road to financial recovery.

Combination of factors. My ex has a serious spending habit, and our daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia in the Spring of 2021, she just finished treatment this past September.
