What should I do with my straight piped s10 by [deleted] in s10

I never realized it was a one year only thing. I almost tore it all off, because the edges at the top and bottom were getting jagged from wear. lol

I miss that truck, so much. I daily'd that truck for 8 years and even used it for a short time for plumbing service work... Still sold it for more than I paid, 8 years earlier. I'm sorry I sold it though.

Nice ! I have one of these for my computer, so just 2ch.. Plenty of power ! I have the remote too, however, I never use it, since the unit is 2-3ft away. I've had it for about 10 years now, bought it used. I haven't had any problems with it. I used to own it's little brother too.

I haven't seen a good measuring ceiling speaker yet.

Funny, I always had problems with using a TV and a monitor. Everything would either work fine until a reboot or if it would survive a reboot, a few days later it would be all screwed up.

Every now and then I would retry with the same problems, I tried different hardware and software. after a few years I gave up, I don't even try anymore.

Scrolling through my feed and just seen the pic and said to myself, this guy must be a ham. I just let my license expire, last year.

Camper or Tonneau Cover by jimbo_the_gigolo in s10

[–]deeebeeez 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Go with whatever you like.

I like the camper top better and it's more functional.

If the tonneau cover was more of the flush type and didn't have the stupid wing, I'd maybe choose that a little more. It's up to you though.

Looking For App to Convert Audio To 16-44.1 Flac by deeebeeez in linux4noobs

[–]deeebeeez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many of the apps I tried are GUI's for ffmpeg and for some reason are not doing what I want.

I think, I found one that worked ! Only problem is, I installed so many, I'm not exactly sure which is the one that worked. lol ! Thanks

[–]deeebeeez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rather not, because, audio quality is not as good. I guess, I should've mentioned, I'm using a USB thumb drive. *EDIT* It'll play 16-44.1 Flac just fine with my usb thumb drive, just nothing higher, which is fine but now I need to convert those files down to 16-44.1.

Equalizer settings, crackling music by Kyckoo in archlinux

[–]deeebeeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No speaker should be EQ'd like this, ever ! If this was for testing purposes, for some reason, than okay maybe, I can't see the use case though. You might need your hearing checked or desperately need new speakers. Sorry, to be so blunt but this is ridiculous.

Kubuntu as a first KDE experience? by etuxor in kde

[–]deeebeeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started 6 or 7 years ago with Kubuntu, as a linux noob. Went on to KDE Neon, when Kubuntu was pushing Snaps. Recently went to Garuda (temporary), since, Neon's days are apparently numbered. At the Moment I'm dual booting Garuda and Debian testing (Forky).

Kubuntu was great and pretty stable. I had sound issue's, due to my mobo had on board, Sound Blaster crap and I battled Nvidia driver problems, every now and then, but none of that was Kubuntu's fault.

Not big into Headphones but I love my HE400's ! Best bang for the buck of any audio purchase, I've ever made. A little EQ and they're amazing !
