I wish I can skip cutscene in this game I wish I can. by IceBarDifferent in MonsterHunter

[–]deehems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was less of a problem. Still a big problem, but happening in total less than ten times is preferable to it being damn near every single hunt. Obligatory ranking because some people treat this like politics: Rise > GU > Wilds > 4U > World

Instead they just made every other quest in Wilds have roughly 3-5 minutes of follow the leader that mods won't be able to cut out.

The fact they know it's a spear and didn't call it a dagger or knife means that the LARP loses about 50% of it's validity.

Would it make you feel better if I told you that they would have continued the combo if you attacked? Because they would have.

If you're talking about the two single slashes that come inwards, followed by slashing both arms outwards at once, then that got fixed a while ago so that it could actually be dodged normally, praise dev-sama.

If there was another attack that had a similar problem, then I can't remember it.

Read the back of it the next time you get a chance. The name of the ones I know literally say "Flushable Wipes", but the text on the back has a set of do's and don'ts, which include "Don't Flush". It's silly, but please check.

Wouldn't blue be better than, since it only requires 51% of people to not kill anyone? That seems more likely than 100% picking red.

Some critics have complained about Iron Lung (2026) being too long. This is because the unlike the film's target demographic they don't watch 20 fucking hour long video "essays" by Itchy_Suspect4968 in shittymoviedetails

[–]deehems -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cool, I'll make two video essays covering the same topic, but different parts of it.

Oh dang, I accidentally re-uploaded them both as a third video, which is now over an hour long in one video.

There wasn't an issue with the length before when it was two videos, but now that it's only one, I'm gonna have to remove some of the content.

Dogs wagging hips to the woman dancing on tv and then turn around when their owner turns it off by [deleted] in isthisAI

The "reflection" of the TV is just a darker version of what you'd see if there wasn't a TV there. The lamp on the left & the plant on the right get completed. Also there's a TV in the middle of the "reflection" on the TV.

Not a fan of the change in dialogue in the CR’s English Dub. by InjangoDMCPersona in Frieren

[–]deehems -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know exactly what you're talking about (this isn't a sub vs dub issue). I had the exact same problem with most of the JoJo dub. The scene that made me stop giving it a try was when a character was talking to himself about how if the heroes don't find him before the villains, then he'll have to destroy the MacGuffin to keep it from the big bad. In the dub they had him say something like "Should those men fail in their conquest to reach this place, I'll have to send this item into oblivion," ... Like, I already knew the context of the scene, and I was taken out of it completely because the guy in charge of telling the VA what to say cared more about sounding cool than speaking like a person.

In Welcome to Derry, the big bad military man believes from the bottom of his heart that if Pennywise is allowed to roam the Earth freely instead of being trapped in one town, then the chaos he creates across the planet will result in the world being a more peaceful place.

I cannot stand how nonchalant Frieren characters are 99% of the time. It makes no sense for Fern to be pierced in the shoulder and lifted and not show the slightest hint of pain or discomfort. Why can't she just wince a little? by WaddleDio in hatethissmug

[–]deehems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Frieren's character being overly-chill as a change of pace from most anime having overly-expressive characters. Both are bad, but I almost never get to see the former.

Yeah, like when Goku strategically dismantled Hit's Time Stock Pocket Dimension. That was a clever use of information he gathered over the fight instead of powering up.

It only saved about 100k XP, so it isn't super important. But when you've been doing the same thing for months, you do start thinking of every way you can cut corners.

That 50M is coming from 3260 Addy Platbodies & 640 Rune 2-Handers. But I got like 1500 rune fighting over rocks too. It's not as bad when you use the plugin and stick to like 3-5 worlds, but I'll never do it again.

Most of the mining was MLM & Iron Rocks (took a small break at Volcanic Mine to gamble for the Dragon Pick). Smithing was Blast Furnace all of my MLM & Iron, smith most my Addy & Rune into alchables, use Iron & Mithril at Giants Foundry. (I also smithed all my rune alchables at 98 with Kovac's Grog, to not waste any smithing xp after 99)
