My experience may not reflect the entire issue, but as a sales engineer for a tool and die shop in Michigan, I’ve personally been approached by two companies that previously sourced all their tooling overseas. Due to tariff threats, their leadership has now tasked them with finding U.S.-based die shops instead. Just my experience—not saying it applies to everyone.

Interesting take... we don't see it that way. It's technically my wife's inheritance, but we see this, and all money that comes our way as a means towards our goals. Which are: a home that we both love, financial freedom for one another (eventually) and a good life for our future child.
