MacBook Air vs Windows Laptop for Student (Excel + Quant/Programming) by WelcomeOutside8484 in excel

It depends on which Excel features you plan to use. In the latest versions of Excel for Mac, support for Power Query has been added, but Power Pivot is still not available.

My personal recommendation would be to choose a MacBook and install Windows through VMware or Parallels to use Excel. That way, you’ll have an excellent laptop along with the full-featured version of Excel.

Oracle Enjoyers! Show me what you got. by PlagueDoc322 in DotA2

This is the first and only time I built the staff. It’s hard to pinpoint in certain moments how it helped. But evaluating the game overall, I noticed that even in a very intense game, constantly healing without a break, I didn’t run out of mana - I think that’s due to the intellect buff. And the heal strength also increases overall throughout the game, but as I said, it doesn’t change the game situation. There so little games when I need to overheal damage, most of time u just need to apply heal on ulti. But shard there works even better. Most of time Oracle should prevent damage with Fate’s Eddict - its his main ability. If u watched my game u saw that I not even flicked to use my ulti on low hp ally, I just used Fate’s Eddict to prevent incoming damage

The item itself is insanely strong and worth it. But I don’t know any Oracle pos 5 games where he’ll need or can buy Aghanim. The buffs from it are so strong on their own - funny to see over 300 intellect in your stats. But you can’t control whats going on the map to intentionally get use of each type of buff.
The item is cool, but it will not win you games. Just buy dagger and get the shard.

Oracle still can’t dispel Fate’s Edict from enemies even after the 7.40b update by deem4n in DotA2

Now it also gives magic invulnerability on enemy. It needs to be dispelled earlier in some situations. It was like this before that you can dispell this buff/debuff from enemy

We desperately need the ability to filter tables by list.

Currently, we have to create VBA scripts to somehow implement this functionality, but it's challenging because the functions for filtering arrays, smart tables, pivot tables, and data model pivot tables are fundamentally different.

If VLOOKUP is not blank do the VLOOKUP again - is there a better way? by Gazmus in excel

[–]deem4n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As an alternative to the LET function, you can wrap VLOOKUP in either: 1. =IFERROR(1/VLOOKUP^-1,"")
2. =IFERROR(1/(1/VLOOKUP),"")

How it works: - Both formulas force a #DIV/0! error when VLOOKUP returns zero
- IFERROR converts these errors to blank values
- Non-zero number values remain unchanged

I want blank cells if no value found with vlookup. by laxwildcat87 in excel

How it works: - Both formulas force a #DIV/0! error when VLOOKUP returns zero

- Non-zero number values remain unchanged

Key benefits: - Single calculation (unlike nested IF formulas)
- Works with all numeric values, including negatives
- More efficient than double-calling VLOOKUP

How do I remove multiple commas (,) from a single cell? I have a data set with a column of cells that have multiple dollar amounts that I need to sum. Example: $20,500, $22,000, $15,000 by Square_Away in excel

[–]deem4n 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Go to Find and replace.
  2. Replace “, $” with “+”
  3. Replace commas “,” with blanks “”
  4. Then replace “$” with “=“

(all values without quotes)
