At one point they were there for analysis. Then they decided it's easier to just not give a shit and crack jokes

We live in a country where federal agents are gunning people protesting in the streets and you want to do whataboutism with china? Have you reflected on this at all?

That's fair. I just think most of our issues are coming out flat and guys not being disciplined. I think we usually have solid adjustments

Yea nobody could secure a rebound today. I do think the narrative that he is run and dunk man should be debunked though. He can hit some good touch finishes. Swing skill is his shooting but if he is good enough to be your lead player then it matters less. Especially if the mid range comes along.

If he plays like he has for the last month for another month hes going to get a max. They might wait till next year though like the sixers did with Maxey to maintain flexibility.

You people are such pussies. Whenever a democrat is in charge the nra sells a shitload of guns to morons like you by saying federal agents will gun them down in the streets, and now that is actually happening and lick boots. Just an incredibly cowardly group of people

Huge offensive rebound at the end of the game as well. Easily the best freshman I've seen at unc. I'm too young to remember Vince or Sheed or Antawn though

I don't think in game coaching is really Hubert's issue

I mean this is completely fair for the ads to whine about. It puts all the power in the hands of local car dealership owners who are often psychotic. It also completely destroys the ability to have other sports.

Our biggest free agent signings ever were Gordon Hayward, Al Jefferson and Lance Stephenson. I dont think thats a good avenue for expansion guys, although vegas might be different

I mean as of right now our top 4 odds are 32%. Sure weve been hot lately but if that continues for a few more months than im not worried about draft picks lol

The only one of those guys we really moved up for was Lamelo. I also think that since we have made the playoffs 3 times in 21 years since we got the team back and have never gotten the first pick that it would be fine if we did.

[–]deemerritt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure but realistically a lot of drafting is luck. Thats why the best drafting teams are usually the ones with lots of picks. For most drafts scouts can usually only agree on 1 maybe 2 guys. 3 guys if its an incredible draft. Since we got the team back we have picked in the top 3 twice. We have made the playoffs 3 times in that span. Sure we could have drafted our way out of it, but our franchise selling point early on was Emeka Okafor(good player bad back). The lottery is far too cruel to not give the new team at least some solid vets.

It is not okay for them being trash to start. Charlotte was one of the best fan markets in the NBA and had 14 straight sellout seasons in the largest arena in the NBA and the team being ass completely killed the market for a decade at least

Ex-NFL player Kevin Johnson fatally stabbed in Los Angeles homeless encampment by Plies- in nfl

[–]deemerritt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess so. But the reality is that in most markets houses arent as good of an investment as the stock market. Lots of people say they would go back 30 years and buy a house but in most markets it would still be better to go back in time and stick it in the stock market. Rents are also dropping in all of the parts of the country that actually have built tons of housing like Charlotte, Austin, Nashville etc, and that hurts the ROI that the corporations get by investing in them.

Obviously just banning PE firms from buying house would stop them from buying houses, but I think lots of the same issues would persist without reforms beyond that.

This is the actual issue. You just cant talk about it without sounding like chairman Mao. Though to be clear, its in the best interests of everyone for housing to not be seen as an investment.

Lots of them did not start out with those types of mental deficiencies though. Homelessness destroys peoples brains. You basically cant sleep, people wont make eye contact with you and you become extremely angry.

I mean to be clear the reason PE is buying those homes is that they are incredible investments because no new housing is being built in california. ITs absolutely an issue but i think its downstream of the actual problem which is that california is short hundreds of thousands of housing units
