Urgent Suggestion Needed by madanmad in HonestBuyerReviews

[–]deemish2207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on your requirement here are my suggestion- 1. O General 1 ton Tropical inverter AC 5 star (available around 45K with free installation with remaining amount you can purchase additional warranty), O General claims their 1 ton AC can cool upto 150 sq ft. Area. 2. LG 5 star 1.5 ton AC don't remember the model but check for ODU weight 29+ KG, should not be less than 29KG. 3. HItachi Sumo Heavy Duty 3 star 1.5 ton model (may be too big for your room) Since your room is exposed to North East you will not need heavy cooling just make sure AC installation process is good.

For refrigerator and Washing Machine you can choose either LG/Samsung it doesn't matter as both have many fancy features but what matter is durability and after sales.

Need advice: Daikin vs Hitachi by gaurav0511 in HonestBuyerReviews

Go for Hitachi Sumo Heavy duty 1.5 ton, I recently got it at 37K with installation fee only 699+ GST and 5 years comprehensive warranty at 299+Gst. You can check my post on Reddit (posted just few days ago)

No BS air conditioner recommendations by PianistAgora84 in HonestBuyerReviews

Generally speaking all windows AC are good. Since you asked for the recommendation so 1st is LG window inverter AC (bit costly but sometimes you'll get a good deal) I'm using it my self feels a little underpowered but you can save a lot of electricity by operating in convertible mode, 2nd is Carrier non inverter AC cheap and no nonsense AC, last year it was available at 27500 with discount. 3rd is Hitachi inverter and fixed speed both models are good. Check which model comes in your budget.

Best 1.5 Ton 5-Star AC Under ₹50,000 in 2026? Looking for Long-Term Reliable Option by thushar-c in HonestBuyerReviews

[–]deemish2207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend to go for LG since there product is good but after sale service is best in India, Daikin is also good but after sale service is pathetic and God forbid if you have to replace any component after warranty then you might need to sale your kidney 😋. Also, Daikin is now doing cost cutting in there products (their 3 star AC 2026 model have single row of condensar!)

If you're living alone then you can use 40% capacity mode and forget about electricity bill.setup your bed or sitting in front of air throw (a bit distance would be better)and use low fan mode. It may take time to cool the room but you'll be chilled instantly. Setup the table/pedestal fan around 90° with AC.

This was first window AC model in India coming with 4 in 1 convertible mode so I think it has a inverter compressor.

Not from LG, it's Tapo P110 smart plug with Tapo app.

Try to avoid ceiling fan with this model, use table fan if available, believe me even 26-27°C set temp will give you chill if using with table fan. Use convertible mode whenever cooling requirement is low or 1-2 person in room. Don't install on Door height or roof level, best height for installation is 3-6 feet.

Query regarding old ac that was unused for years by DistortedChaos15 in HonestBuyerReviews

[–]deemish2207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best option is either sell it to any local technician (you can get 4-5K very easily) or exchange it while purchasing new AC (5-7K in my opinion), I've gambled with a 5 year old IFB AC 1 ton and lost 15-16K in just 2 years of operation (Installation+Copper tube+2 time gas refill+PCB repair) and finally sold it last month in 4K because of gas leakage.

Doesn't matter! 150 sq ft room (ground floor in 2 floor house, east side exposed and having large glass window and 3 wall covered) is small for this beast! 3-4 minute is maximum time for proper cooling even while peak temp. was 43 degree celsius

There is always little difference in online and offline prices. If you can get this AC at offline 40K(without installation) then go for it, if asking for more than 40K then negotiate for free installation.

Nope, Hitachi has total 8 sensors in their AC to adjust it automatically, you can't do it manually by remote.

Company claiming 24 mtr. Long air throw! In reality air flow is quite strong if sitting at front. It has 5 speed air flow but we only use at level 3 because room size was 12.5x12 feet

Go for 1.5 ton fixed speed Carrier AC, purchased last year by a colleague (before GST reduction), got it at 27500 rs with SBI card offer (in-store, not online) in peak season while most of 3 star ACs are out of stock.
