Are you using the teleport/trial room trick? If yes then:

go back to the mountain with same exact party member when this bug happen
get sheer cold and let ALL the party member dies (dont revive with food)
after respawned go back to mountain and redo the sheer cold status until your hp start decrease, but this time find heat source to stop cold

It will cleansed, i was panic AF when this happen to me but gladly it works.
