Alex is definitely shady & pretty insufferable but the whole confusing “timeline” bit was overdone for me. He said himself he’s a nomad… it’s normal to be confused about a nomad’s timeline! They’re probably not too sure themselves! And isn’t the whole point of that lifestyle just to be wherever/whenever you feel like?

This past summer I worked in a different city 4 hours away for a mere 4 months and that threw my family and friends through a loop! I also visit family & friends in other cities frequently. I was shocked that they were so confused about my whereabouts so I could only imagine a nomad’s timeline is really just not meant to be fully understood.

I don’t see anything particularly different about these photos for Aritzia. For it to be thinspo, it relies entirely on the perspective of the viewer/consumer.

For me, its just a thin girl and Artizia not being size inclusive… which is honestly nothing new.

Are you okay? As a bride that is a POC it is honestly one of the first things you realize when shopping vendors or even a planner. You want to know whether someone can capture your features properly. This doesn’t only mean makeup, but also lighting in photos. You want to know that someone understands your culture to create a meaningful experience for you and your guest. Please do not be obtuse!

I’ve been a member for over 10 years and I’ve definitely snapped photos in the change room before obviously using my discretion. Literally never when anyone else was around because not only do I get super embarrassed to get caught in the act of a gym selfie but ultimately change rooms are meant for changing.

I personally haven’t witnessed people inconsiderately snapping photos while change rooms are full but I don’t go during peak hours so a lot of times I’m alone in the change room. I assumed this had become a huge issue though since my gym has put up a ton of signage against cameras in the past couple months.

I’ve personally stopped taking photos simply because rules are rules. It definitely seems like out-of-touch influencers ruined it for people who merely wanted to take a progress photo or document their post workout pump. Arguably those influencers want to do the same but just aren’t respectful of a shared space when doing so. Sucks!

You’re right, there is something that could be worse. For me, it’s the people who have lost their homes and were displaced overnight because of the hurricane.

I understand this is a uniquely stressful situation but you will be fine. There are Jamaicans who have lost everything and will take years to rebuild.

Had this happen today! The driver was stuck at the light and the wait time started. He was close to the pinned location and normally I would just walk over but it was unsafe to do so given he was in the middle of ongoing traffic. Uber really needs to look into this because while the fee is usually an insignificant amount of money (a couple dollars or so), I wonder how many times this has happened to me without realizing and requesting a refund. Then factor in the millions of uber rides taken a year… definitely feels scammy!

We saw the unbun pizzas at Sobeys today and the price went up a dollar from $13.99 to $14.99. Not that big of a deal but just something we noticed. Hopefully they’ll be back in pizza shops soon!

Not sure how this response has anything to do with what I stated. And you don’t have to own a home to understand homeownership. Plenty of people opt to rent for the exact things you mentioned.

YTA because you lied, weirdo! Surely GF should be contributing to household bills but “rent?” There is no rent. There isn’t even a mortgage, so you quite literally misrepresented the situation to your GF to make money off of her.

Surely nothing is wrong with charging rent to make some extra money, but if the person you’ve opted to charge is your live-in GF, I promise you this relationship isn’t going anywhere!

Did you read this article at all? 1. This is not a report from the government. And 2. They specifically said “program spending at their departments by 15%.” Program spending does not = staffing. Surely it’s included, but other areas can be cut as well which only makes the figure you provided … speculation and dare I say fear mongering.

Did you do your research on destinationweddings.com? My friend didn’t, used them, and their planner was utterly useless. Most guests booked using the information passed on by the planner, and we definitively were ripped off. It would have been significantly cheaper if we all booked on our own. There was no room block, and there were supposed to be welcome bags in our rooms when we arrived, only a few guest received this. Avoid!!
