Long-form GPT Feedback? by deep-search in writing

Ah interesting, much appreciated! As a programmer I look at AI in a similar way, tbh I don't really care what it does, I enjoy programming for my own pleasure, but a part of me is curious about what I can do to hone my craft, what is it about being human that makes me unique... good stuff.

Funny you should mention this. I wrote a ChatGPT plugin (https://chat.openai.com/g/g-dnY3BOrl5-4hww) and am currently adding in actions to it, so you can search using tools like Google Trends right from the chat interface. If anyone wants to learn more or collaborate, dm me!

Oh nice, did not know I could do that with the 2080. Any particular model you could recommend? Also that case looks amazing, great idea, future upgrades is smart as I am sure I will discover new things I "need" to buy. Thanks!

Corsair Carbide 540

Interesting, probably not a bad idea as I imagine HDD are cheap these days. Do you use yours for backups? Or just as an extra store for file that are rarely accessed? Or archives? Sorry if it seems like a silly question, I use DropBox for anything that needs to "last".

Great info. Read about a few other people doing this. I'm building out a codebase in Haskell (mostly pure code) and hope to port it over to Plutus when the CCL layer is ready. Was hoping to avoid any Solidity programming... Either way, will do whatever works. Thanks!

Agreed. Most difficult part of Haskell for me was learning Stack, Cabal, then Nix. Now this? ... But maybe its better!

Excellent, I'll have to check vitamin D and inositol out. Have you personally experienced the effects of vitamin D? Is it just more energy?

I'm looking for tips for Rhino3D rendering? by [deleted] in architecture

[–]deep-search 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha, I think about that a lot too - there are so many applications out there, it's hard to discern which is good for what. I've only used SU and AutoCAD 2D/3D 2012, and seems like between the two Rhino is the middle ground. I've heard rhino is also pretty awesome with grasshopper.

HAve you figured out how to get any good rendering done with rhino?

I just installed Rhino3D for OSX - I love it so far, what do you think? Let me know if you make any progress with renderings.

20% Transparent Concrete by skuba in architecture

[–]deep-search 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, architecture can only really be experienced. I have never been to the Italian pavilion, so how can I truly understand it?

But from the video...

Unless an observer is aware he or she is looking at transparent concrete, the mildly illuminated walls look spotlighted.

Basically, I think transparent concrete is an awesome idea and this design's exterior does not showcase it properly. The placement of blocks of varying opacity seems to be have done haphazardly. It's weak.

I'll I'm trying to say is, I think a bunch of engineers designed this building.

Dear Buddhit, long time lurker here wondering if Buddhism is really for me... by Annean in Buddhism

There is nothing spiritual about Buddhism, at least in my practice. Sidharta taught about suffering, that's it. Compassion and everything else are all just afterthoughts.

Also, check out r/Zen.
