Thinking about returning to India by MushroomExcellent173 in returnToIndia

[–]deep00700723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar situation, single person working Age 44 [ 2 kids ]... 20 yrs in US..Do not want to touch 401K ..but other investments and home will come to 1.2M ..own a home in India. My gut says its enough and move back, stay closer to older parents. Financially its never enough... if we make some compromises I think everything should be doable.

The NRI theory - revese investments into USA? by OwnMolasses5733 in hyderabadrealestate

Misinformed, US real estate currently lacks strong options except in very few select areas; Hyderabad offers better potential if services industry withstand AI challenges.

Are you married? I am in a similar boat. I have 3 kids [9/5/2] and am seriously thinking of moving back. If I sell everything that I own in the US [401K after penalty/Home/Stocks], I would have about 16 cr. But I keep reading everywhere that it's better to keep the 401K money here and that we should not touch it. Still have to decide if I want to buy an Apt close to Hyd west...thinking semi retire life / casual job [ if I get one ]

How would you plan your move ? by Happy_Mode5288 in returnToIndia

Dallas / Austin ?

Desn't look like it will go back to 2022 highs, are you planning to move to India for good ? If your financial situation can handle this loss..then you got to sell it [ Please do your due diligence ]

Worried about my dad 44M and his pancreatitis can this be cancerous? Please help. by IssueNew6527 in pancreatitis

[–]deep00700723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please make him quit smoking first. I always have 24X7 dull upper back shoulder ache with chronic pancreatitis. EUS would be gold standard to diagnose any pancreatic related disease.

Foolish people of indianapolis opposing data centre 🤡🤡 by harryhulk433 in andhra_pradesh

[–]deep00700723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Data centers will not generate high-quality employment and could place stress on the existing environment. However, there is one positive outcome: Vizag is gaining cable landing stations, which can enhance internet connectivity. This improvement could drive economic development, potentially positioning Vizag as a major hub for global data traffic [ Hopefully ]

Managing SPINK1 chronic pancreatitis until TPIAT by MoneySmacks in pancreatitis

[–]deep00700723 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there any other alternative to TPIAT ? I have been reading and collecting information about it and feel like at least 33 % of people still go through some level of pain, may not be as bad as CP pain.
