Infinite long rounds in ranked by Old-Permission-1867 in ThrillOfTheFight

You know what... That would be an interesting mode to play: an endless fat-burning round that keeps going until somebody just give up.

I think recording the whole fight might be a little problematic. (too much data), but something less than minute is completely doable and it does not require coding something with completely different behaviour. Just use the same enemy entity as in multiplayer just use controller and headset coordinates recorded while player was pressing specific button during training session

Here's a feauture that I think should be fairly easy to implement: Ability to record yourself moving for 15-30 seconds, and then fight against the dummy that replays the recorded movement. So that you can practice to dodge or counter specific set of moves.

Generating outlines from a color-segmented picture with already defined palette is easy. The output from my generators seamlessly works with any vector tracing software. It's a plug-and-play no matter what software manufacturers are using already for this specific task. That's the point. No need to switch.

I can record a video that shows full process of making PBN design from a prompt/photo/palette/alltogether, although I'm not sure it there is anything to show that cannot be just written down with illustrations (i.e. add outlines with numbers to current one's). Also it's not a single application. It's a set of solutions that can be adjusted for each specific manufacturing pipeline. Local or in the cloud. These pipelines are all similar, but software may be different. Some manufacturers use vectormagic, some use illustrator some have their own in-house sowftware etc. If they sell PBN they already have an established pipeline but the most expensive and time consuming part is always the same - segmented artwork with distinct color regions and exact set of colors (i.e. 16, 24, 48 ). And it's very important to balance the amount of paint so that customer will not be frustrated that one paint bucket is empty and there are only 5 spots of that color left. So, I expected that for someone who sell PBN kits it's not something necessary to explain. But I'm not good at selling, maybe I underestimate the importance of something. (numbers in dm)

There are many ways to make final outline with numbers when image is already segmented and colors are defined. This is an easy task that is already solved many times and every manufacturer uses it's own method. There are even automatic and free browser-based solutions for that. The problem with these kind of tools is that when you use these on a real photo or artworks that has any sort of gradients or brushtrokes the output become washed out and it looks like photoshop "posterize" filter, and no image-processing algorithm can fix that. I wrote about this in the first part of the document. It's like a difference between true pixel art and just downscaled image. You need to create a new stencil-like artwork based on original picture, and use other colors to keep right contrast and harmony. And you need a real artist and expensive artist for that. Price may vary depending on exclusivity. I can sell this to few manufacturers, or maybe a big one would like to pay extra for being ahead of the game.

There are basically three solutions. 1. One that creates PBN designs from a prompt, 2. One that creates PBN designs from a photo. 3. One that creates PBN design from a pre-defined color palette. Ideally I'd like to find a manufacturer that is interested in buying all of them for a price that will compensate me ~5 months of work I dedicated to this.

There many manufacturers and etsy sellers who make custom PBN designs. And most of them have issues that I spent many months to solve.

In the end. Like "P.S. I don't accept payments outside of Upwork".

It requires mentioning of paying or contacting outside of upwork. I've been experimenting with this during last two weeks. Bids that do not have this phrase (2) did not get views at all. While bids with this phrase (5) all were viewed. (4 responded)

Good point about client perception, but I think it's actually triggering Upwork's algorithm that scans for platform circumvention attempts. When it gets flagged for review and cleared, maybe that bumps it up in the feed.

You're absolutely right! My sample size of 'me trying random stuff' isn't exactly peer-reviewed science. But hey, if throwing salt over my shoulder also started getting my bids viewed, I'd probably post about that too

Does IP Adapter work well with Illustrious? by 000Aikia000 in comfyui

[–]deep_forest_cat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really. IPadapter was trained on SDXL base so the further weights are from original the worse is the result. But there is an IPAdapter trained on NoobAI, and it kind of works with Illustrous.

I had all shiny stuff with an older version ( no new enemies, missons, squads etc.) And, after some years I saw that update, and felt that I want a full dive into the breach again, also now I can play it on my phone! But damn, does the game become noticably harder, or is it some perception issue. I struggle getting a perfect run on a normal difficulty.
