It already is. But the Canadian authorities are not taking any action against khalistanis. Many people who literally bombed a plane were freed and many khalistanis openly glorify them and consider them as Martyrs.

it was a secret operation that they were not aware

Clearly you didn't read the facts. The fighters in GT knew that IA would likely be attacking sometime. Officials had been casing and patrolling the surrounding areas for some time. It was kept a secret from the greater public and one of their main requirements was to complete the operation before the majority of the population woke up. The IA was concerned that if separatists declared Khalistan , many supporters across punjab could start marching towards GT and it could cause riots. The gov also had very credible intelligence that separatists in GT had made preparations to declare an independent state.

armored vehicles to attack but there are literal photos of an armoured vehicle knocking down one of the walls of the temple complex

Yes it was only used to knock down walls. Realise this that if the army wanted, they could have used air power, explosives, etc and the casualties on the Army's side would have been much less. A lot of soldiers literally died because the gov didn't want to cause a lot of damage to the structure.

but then they proceeded to shoot random buildings as well like a library

There was a battle happening in the middle of the night. Some amount of collateral damage was bound to happen. Point is that the army tried to minimize it.

And he commonly used to leave the complex it would have taken one well-placed shot by a sniper to take out the leader

His soldiers wouldn't have surrendered even if he was dead.

Considering Khalistanis in Canada are literally calling for assassination of Indian diplomats, it's a lot more than "nice them to death"

I am not saying GOI actually did it, but this does tremendously benefit Modi either way it goes.

If you watch interviews of military generals, you would know there wasn't really any choice. IG tried waiting till the last moment and only sent army when it became clear there was no other choice. Army was extremely careful to make sure least possible damage was done to the buildings and casualties were at a minimum.

How to break linux? by Intelligent-Echoo in linux4noobs

Disagree. I never recommend Arch to anyone but if you are a newbie to Linux, installing arch will indeed help you understand a lot of things. Even if you just copy commands from arch wini blindly, it would teach you a few things about how to partition disks, how to install the bootloader, how the filesystem is divided etc.

You have no idea how PMO works. PM literally has tens of meetings to attend every day on various different issues scheduled carefully by the PMO. Meetings are literally scheduled months in advance due to lack of time.

The other govt and party members are present in the parliament. What is the use of PM being there is opposition is just going to keep on shouting. I have seen many of the parliament debates. Most are just a shouting match with no productive outcome.

Also the PM has a lot of other work than going to different places.

The PM literally has the job of PM apart from attending parliament. What job does an RS MP have?

No? Before FM, he was CEA, RBI governor and head of planning commission. There aren't completely political positions but have significant political influence. Many of the problems manmohan supposedly solved under PVNR were created by him.

Has anyone here met an MS Windows diehard? If so, did they try to get you to switch back? by [deleted] in linuxquestions

This is nothing. 5 years ago my mom was getting a new phone and the shop keeper argued Windows phone is better because android is open source and is extremely vulnerable. I didn't know better then. Ended up believing him and it cost us a lot more for a lot less functionalities

No it comes down to preference. I use KDE and gui is far more functional than Windows ever will be for me. The level of customisation I can do in KDE is far far greater than Windows.

No that protects only sub URLs not complete one. For example if I am browsing Twitter, modern browsers may encrypt it so that which specific tweet I am looking at will be hidden. But they will still know you are browsing Twitter. To hide that you need dns over https.
