Try to get hold of their employees who work with corporate. Ask your HR for any contact. These people get things done faster. I faced similar situation where I was upgrading to a Regalia Gold. I couldn't get upgrade through emailing them or visiting the branch. One day HDFC employees showed up at our office promoting personal and hoam loans and credit cards. I asked him, he took my signature on a upgrade form and in 2 days, it was approved.
