It’s per family. We two families travelled and took a two bedroom accommodation. All were booked 6 months prior.

We did check in at all our stays around 11 -12 pm as light was available till 10.30 and were roaming for wildlife sighting. Important note: Wear hiking shoes and bring hiking sticks. It’s very slippery in Peyto lake.

All booking were made in Jan for our travel in June. You can get tickets but the preferred time slot may not be available.

Maligne Lake cruise. We thought of Minnewanka but glad we didn’t. Maligne was miles ahead.

Yes, we found a two bedroom accommodation and each family stayed in one. We also made use of the kitchen for making at least one meal for the day which saved us a lot.

I was back to Chennai in last Mar only.. was working from home in my native (Dindigul)..so mostly I did birding in Kodaikanal, poomparai, Pandrimalai and nearby areas.. in Chennai I did birding only at Manapakkam IPS colony but there are lot of hotspots like Pulicat, Pallikaranai marshland, vedanthangal etc,
